As-Built Documentation
Always up-to-date documentation of what was actually built
Changes happen on every construction project – but do they end up in the documentation? As-built documentation ensures you always have a precise overview of your building as it actually looks today. It is the foundation for efficient operations, maintenance and future renovations.
What is as-built documentation?
As-built documentation – also known as record drawings or as-constructed documentation – is a systematic registration of a building or installation in the state in which it was actually constructed. During construction, ongoing changes arise from the original design drawings: pipes are relocated, installations adapted, structures adjusted. As-built documentation captures all of these changes and gives you an accurate, up-to-date picture of your property.

What value does it give you as an owner or operations manager?
Inadequate documentation is one of the most common causes of costly errors in renovation, maintenance and technical work. With precise as-built documentation:
Types of as-built output
We deliver documentation tailored to your building type and your needs:
2D drawings – plan, section and elevation drawings reflecting what was actually constructed
3D BIM models – digital building models in Revit format for future design and engineering work
Photo documentation – systematic photographic registration of critical details
Dimensional survey – laser measurement (point cloud) for high accuracy in complex buildings
The process – from registration to completed documentation
We begin with a survey of your property. We then produce the agreed documentation in the formats you and your advisors work with. Everything is delivered structured and ready for use – digitally in PDF or as editable CAD/BIM files.
