Matterport Digital Twin for Netto’s 3.0 Store Concept in Germany

Supporting International Concept Rollouts with Virtual 3D Environments

The Project

As part of the international rollout of Netto’s modern "3.0" store concept, a new flagship branch was completed in Dresden, Germany. To streamline internal review processes and maintain brand consistency across regions, Netto needed a way to present the new concept to key stakeholders without the need for physical travel.

Our Role & Deliverables

scanningpartner was engaged to capture a high-resolution Matterport digital twin of the finished Dresden store. We produced a fully interactive 3D virtual model, allowing management, architects, and retail teams to navigate the space, inspect the layout, and evaluate the new concept implementation remotely.

Key Deliverables:

  • Interactive Matterport 3D digital twin of the Dresden store.

  • Immersive, web-based virtual walkthrough for remote stakeholder presentations.

  • A standardized digital reference model for future store designs and buildouts.

The Business Impact

By removing geographical barriers, the digital twin enabled smooth cross-border collaboration and faster internal alignment. Furthermore, the virtual walkthrough serves as an active benchmark for designing, planning, and constructing future Netto 3.0 locations across the retail network.
